Herzberg Relocation — Consulting Services
Get to know us

About me. About us.

My name is Uta Herzberg. For more than eight years I have been guiding people on their way to Munich — and through Munich. What starts small, with one person, one conversation, one first apartment, becomes big through a network and a team that has grown over the years.

Before I search, I ask.
Not about square metres, but about the life that is meant to fit inside.

01My path

My path into relocation

I grew up in Stuttgart and in the south of Baden-Württemberg, close to the Swiss border. As a student I already left Germany to study in Rome. This early openness to other languages and ways of life — and the many journeys that have been added since — shapes my work to this day. It is the reason I speak four languages: German, English, Italian and French. And it opens doors to me that often remain closed to a purely German consultant.

I entered the real-estate industry in 2009 — first as an agent in Munich, focusing on property as an investment. But after a few years I discovered another world that has not let go of me since: relocation. What began as freelance work for a large Munich agency quickly became more.

In 2020 I decided that things could be done better — more personally, more individually, with more tenacity for every single client. From this idea, two brands emerged that go hand in hand today:

  • wirfindendeinwohnglueck.de — "the" go-to place for people searching for their Wohnglück — their happy home — in Munich.
  • Herzberg Relocation — a small, powerful relocation service agency with a focus on individual support, whether for companies or private individuals.

Both share the same motto: "There's no such thing as impossible!"

There's no such thing as impossible.
So simple — and so demanding.

02Passion
Uta Herzberg, owner of Herzberg Relocation

Why relocation — and why with all my heart

In relocation I found what pure real-estate brokerage could not give me: working with the most diverse people from all over the world. The space to use my four languages. And above all the chance to truly bring my real strengths — empathy, tenacity, a healthy pragmatism — into play for someone.

Today I can honestly say: relocation is my passion. And it is a great fortune when you are allowed to turn what you burn for into your profession.

03How I work

How I work

Five convictions my work is measured against every day:

  • Tenacity — "There's no such thing as impossible." I fight for my clients as if it were my own apartment.
  • Empathy — I listen first. Those who feel understood arrive faster.
  • Independence — I am not bound to any landlord, any insurer or any agency. Only to my clients.
  • Personal commitment — I go to the viewings myself. I answer the phone when you call. You don't have an "account manager" — you have me.
  • With heart and mind — Relocation is logistics and life situation at the same time. Both deserve full attention.

Those who listen find faster.
Those who fight find better.

04Team & network

The team behind Herzberg Relocation

What appears personal and lean on the outside has substance in the background. With an extended team and closely connected partners, we cover all areas of a professional relocation service:

  • Immigration & residence law — specialists who guide visas, work permits and residence titles safely through the process.
  • Home finding & viewings — hands-on support when several searches are running in parallel.
  • Insurance — experienced, independent experts we refer to when needed.
  • Moving logistics — professional partners we have worked with for years.

This keeps the support personal — and at the same time ready for any requirement.

Four languages are not a tool.
They are a way in — to people who would otherwise stay outside.

05Personal

Beyond work

I moved to Munich for love. Here I started a family — and today I am very proud of my three grown-up children.

Perhaps that is one of the reasons why other people's arriving matters so much to me: I know from my own experience how much depends on truly feeling at home in a new place.

I know what it is like to be new somewhere — and I know how wonderful it is to truly arrive.
